Flight Training - Flight Solo

Your First Flight Solo Up until this point your instruction has been purely based on flight with a flight instructor in the cockpit with you. Your Flight Solo is a very exciting, yet intense moment for every pilot. The pilot will finally be able to demonstrate their abilities which they have learned throughout their coursework and flight time. You will go up on your own in the assigned aircraft and perform a series of maneuvers to prove that you have actually retained the information that was given to you to certify that you are ready for the world of flight sim! Your instructor will give you a set of instructions before your Flight Solo and you will have to pass with at least an 80% in order to be certified as a certified pilot with Detroit Virtual ATC, as well as pass your written exam.
